My 15 Study Tips for Medical Students.

1)Have a to-do list and set deadlines (realistic deadlines, of course). Nothing gives you a greater sense of achievement than crossing something off your to-do list.

2) Aim to do a little bit of studying each day, even if it’s just revising notes from the afternoon’s lectures or reading some anatomy. Little things add up, and you’ll be surprised how much you learn.

Highest and lowest paid medical specialities in 2013

For the first time in several years, physicians in nearly every specialty saw at least a 1% increase in their annual salary, according to Medscape Medical News' 2013 Physician Compensation Report.

Medscape's survey drew on responses from nearly 22,000 U.S. physicians and ranked 25 medical specialties based on average salaries in 2012. Overall, eight specialists earned an average income of at least $300,000 last year.
